Life is awesome, I mean, everything is awesome even if it is a disaster at the end of the day, still, you learn things that goes beyond the four corners in the classroom. Yes, it’s OrSem, again or the so-called Orientation Seminar for freshmen, transferees & returnees in our school. & the good thing about it is that it’s a (3) three day activities composed of different sessions in the school, hence I’ve got a chance to be a volunteer for the whole duration of the OrSem, or should I say, my third year in OrSem, which I started out two years ago or OrSem 2010. But for this year’s OrSem, it has a lot of twists and turns and ended up with a theme, It’s More Fun in OrSem, more like replicating the Philippines dept. of tourism’s’ theme, It’s More Fun in the Philippines. But still, the main goal or objective of this year’s OrSem is of course to have fun and enjoy the three day activity and get to know more about the school and everything about the school.

& of course! With my fellow education major volunteers, there’s always a striking pose on the first day of the OrSem. :)

With thousands of freshmen, transferees & returnees, I’d say, you’d definitely find a cutie guy along the way on the opening part of the program.

After the first part of the activity, there’s always that wacky-ish and striking-a-pose like the America’s Next Top Model shoot, but I’d say, I’m frustrated at modeling. So, ha!

& by the afternoon or the second part which is the college assembly. Well, showcasing talents, thoughts & everything under sun talks. Glad to be a photographer at that moment, but still, there’s always a line that would always remind me, -seize the day! Not just like a photographer, but I danced during the event. Ssssshhh… I won’t upload ze photo. Sort of awkward, but still. :)
Then there’s the second day of OrSem… kruk… kruk.. kruk… I forgot to bring my camera on the second day… (insert sad face here). Small group discussion is more on the serious type of the activity in which we will talk about policies, history, rules and regulations, and many more! Though, the fun is still there because we had games and ice breakers, the sad part is that I wasn’t able to bring my camera. haha! & I’m one of the nine who facilitates the discussions. Cool, ei?! :)
Then, there’s day 3… drum roll please! Or should I say, the last day of OrSem… Sad! cuz it’s the last day. Kidding! Of course, last days are the best cuz there’ll be a lot of activities to get rolling on!

Spent my whole afternoon in my organization, welcoming freshmen and introducing our organization & of course inviting them to join. :)

& of course the OrSem night where a lot of performers performed during the talent exposition! haha! nevermind me, I just made the most awkward moment, like I danced in the center of the stage confidently, but ssssshhh, it’s our secret! no one must know except for the freshies and the OrSem volunteers. hahaha!

At the end of the talent expositions, we striked again for another pose with sweat and happy smiles in our soul. :)
It’s my last year in college now & I’d say, I would definitely miss this moment, the moment that is worth keeping for, the moment when I was in my freshman year too, cheering in the crowd then with just a snap… boom! It’s over, but the end of the day, I end up smiling. I know I won’t be an OrSem volunteer anymore for next year’s but looking forward to experience again for another awesome OrSem years and with that, I’d say, It’s More fun in ORSEM! <3
